A survey from August 2024 found that the majority of American adults interviewed think that the representation of LGBTQ people in movies and TV shows is generally balanced. Furthermore, while **** percent of respondents thought that gay and lesbian people are shown in a very positive way, *** percent of adults responded that bisexual, trans, and non-binary people are represented very well in entertainment, TV, and movies they watch.
