Counts are based on original scripted series airing or which are expected to air in primetime between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024 for which casting has been announced and confirmed by networks.

In the United States, in the 2024-2025 season, 41 percent of LGBTQ characters on streaming services were white, while the share of Black characters was 17 percent. Only one percent was Indigenous.
