The source adds that the figures for Portuguese arrivals in Germany in 2017 are inflated due to registration problems in the years 2014 to 2016. Most of the entries registered in 2017 actually took place in those three previous years. Neither the growth recorded between 2016 and 2017 nor the decrease between 2017 and 2018 are real.
