Original survey question: "Would you be prepared to buy a car brand from the United States?"
The data displayed here is made of two subtotals. "Yes" comprises respondents having answered "Yes, definitely" and "Yes, probably" to the survey question. "No" represents respondents having answered "No, probably not" and "No, definitely not" to the survey question.
The quota approach was employed to ensure that the sample was representative of gender and age. 3,000 interviews were conducted in France and 800 in each of the other countries.

According to survey results, ** percent of Spanish and Italian respondents reported being prepared to buy a car from a brand from the United States. On the other hand, only ** percent of French consumers were prepared to purchase a vehicle from a U.S. marque. This share was the lowest among all **** countries considered.
