Several answers were possible. The data displayed here denotes respondents describing car brands as high performance.
The quota approach was employed to ensure that the sample was representative of gender and age. 3,000 interviews were conducted in France and 800 in each of the other countries.

European consumer perception of car brands' high performance, by country of origin
Most consumers in the five countries surveyed perceived European car brands as high performance vehicle marques as of ****. Around ** percent of German respondents found European cars were high performance cars, the highest share among all surveyed countries. Furthermore, a large share of respondents also considered car brands from the United States as high performance. In contrast, Chinese car brands did not record the same success: ** percent of Germans and ** percent of Norwegian consumers would describe these brands as high performance.
