While e-bikes remain a relatively marginal transport choice in Nordic capitals following the COVID-19 pandemic, the share of residents using them as their primary transport mode for commuting has increased since pre-pandemic in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Helsinki. The importance of e-bikes has grown particularly strongly in Helsinki, where the share of residents using them has grown from zero to percent.
