Data only shows the share of respondents likely to use an e-bike out of each age group. It excludes respondents reporting not being likely to use an e-bike, as well as respondents who do not know or did not assess their likelihood to use an e-bike. The count of respondents stated is the overall count accross all 12 countries, regardless of respondents' likelihood to use an e-bike.

According to a July 2021 survey, the age group in Europe most likely to consider buying or using an e-bike in 2021 was ****year-olds, as a larger share of this age group reported being likely to buy or use an e-bike. **** of Swedish ***-year-olds indicated that they were likely to purchase or use an e-bike, the highest level of interest in any age group in Europe. Meanwhile, the lowest interest in e-bikes in Europe was recorded in the UK, where only ** percent of respondents aged *** were likely to use an electric bike, and interest was even lower in other age groups.
