The share of residents in Nordic capitals using a bicycle as their main for of transport for personal errands and trips increased between before the COVID-19 pandemic and after the pandemic. Copenhagen is the only outlier within this group, with the use of bicycles remaining steady at ** percent, the highest share among all four capitals. Copenhagen also recorded the largest increase in e-bike use among these four capitals.
