Net operating income of the banking industry in Germany 2014-2024
In 2024, Germany's banking industry achieved a record net operating income of 166.3 billion euros, the highest in the 2014-2024 period. This represented an increase of about 5.7 billion euros from the previous year. Over this decade, the industry's net operating income more than doubled.
