The majority of Japanese consumers bought apparel during the sale season, as revealed in a survey conducted in July 2023. Around ** percent of respondents stated that they experienced a satisfactory feeling for being able to buy fashion at an affordable price. While shopping activities during fashion discount sales were dominated by satisfactory experiences, around ** percent stated that impulse shopping resulted in buying unneeded goods.
