According to a 2023 survey of citizens in the United States, both Democrats and Republicans supported a ban on TikTok. Around six out of every 10 Democrat respondent favored a ban on the video sharing platform while 40 percent opposed it. In contrast, 70 percent of Republicans favored a ban on the platform, while only 30 percent oppose it.
