Consumers aged between 50 and 60 years old made up the largest share of direct to consumer wine buyers in the United States from 2007 to 2021. During the same time period, the share of older buyers grew, likely as 50 to 60 year-olds aged and continued to purchase wine. All consumer groups below 50 years of age either shrank or stagnated.
