According to a survey carried out among postmenopausal women in five European countries, around half of women who did not take any hormone treatment for their menopause-related symptoms did so because they believed there was no need to treat the menopause since it passes by itself. Furthermore, around ** percent of respondents in Germany also did not take hormone therapy due to concerns about side effects.
