The right-wing alliance of political parties won the highest share of the vote in the Italian general election of 2022, at 43.7 percent of votes in the Chamber of Deputies, and 44.02 percent in the Italian senate. This coalition consists of four individual parties, with the largest of these being the Brothers of Italy led by Giorgia Meloni, which gained 26 percent of the vote for both the Chamber of Deputies and Senate. On the 21st of October 2022, Meloni became Italy's first female Prime Minister.
