During the third quarter of 2025, the social video platform TikTok prevented nearly six billion fake likes on its content due to inauthentic engagement and fake account activity. This represents an increase from the previous quarter, when the number of fake likes prevented was approximately 5.53billion. Additionally, the platform prevented over 7.14 million fake follower requests during the last measured quarter, down from the amount of prevented fake follower requests recorded in the first quarter of 2025.
