During the COVID-19 pandemic, parents reported improvements in their child's oral care habits. Good oral care habits, which prevent tooth decay, include more frequent brushing and flossing, the use of fluoride rinse and a decrease in the consumption of sugary beverages. Around 16 percent of parents reported that their child had started brushing more often since the COVID-19 pandemic.
