Between 2017 and the end of 2020, Meta found that 27 of all the Coordinated Inauthentic Behavior (CIB) networks taken down from its platforms originated in Russia. Iran presented the second-highest number of CIB networks operating on Meta platforms in the examined period. Myanmar and the United States generated the third-highest number of CIB networks, with nine networks originating in each country, respectively.
