According to a survey conducted in the United States in July 2022, 28 percent of respondents believed that it was somewhat likely that the Russian invasion of Ukraine would lead to a war between the United States and Russia. In the same survery, eight percent of respondents believed that the U.S. was already at war with Russia. Russian forces invaded Ukraine on February 24th, 2022.
