In a survey conducted among the French on February 27, 2022 regarding their opinion of the situation in Ukraine, people were asked to express their views on the perceived responsibility of Vladimir Putin, Joe Biden, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the current Russia-Ukraine war. While the responsibility of the Russian President goes unquestioned for almost all the respondents, the members of Jean-Luc Mélenchon's party and those of Eric Zemmour's party are more inclined than the others to consider that international and western actors also have a share of responsibility in the conflict.
