Latin America: military spending share 2020, by country
Brazil concentrates more than 40 percent of the total military spending in Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2020, Brazil's military expenditure accounted for almost 42 percent of the whole region's military spending, while Colombia's represented nearly 17 percent. With a share of 11 percent, Mexico had the third largest military expenditure in Latin America in 2020.
