Survey for the year 2024 was carried out on 5,904 individual persons aged 16+ and 3,850 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households. CAPI and CATI survey types were used.
An online shopper is defined as anyone who stated they have made an online purchase in the last 3 months. Data shows the share of online shoppers in total population, not just internet users.
In 2024, the share of women in Czechia who shopped online was greater than the share of men. However, the percentage change from the previous year was nearly the same. While the share of men increased by *** percent, the share of women rose by **** percent. Overall, the number of Czechs shopping online has increased.
