Mobile gamers in the Nordics who play daily or more often 2021, by age
According to a May 2021 survey of users in the Nordic countries, ** percent of users aged between 40 and 49 years old were engaging with mobile gaming apps at least once a day, while daily mobile gaming was common among ** percent of users aged 18 to 29 years old. Users from the younger segments of the population in Sweden and in Finland also played daily on their mobile phones, with ** percent and ** percent of respondents in the two countries doing so, respectively. Unsurprisingly, fewer users aged 60 years and older reported playing mobile games daily.
As of May 2021, users aged between 18 and 29 years old were the demographic reported to be more inclined to spend 100 Swedish kronor on in-app game content, such as bonus lives or upgrades.
