[...] Due to the realities of COVID 19 and the closing of many survey centers across Canada and elsewhere, the Spring 2020 questionnaire was transitioned from a telephone survey to
an online panel survey in order to ensure data collection at this unique time.
In the Fall, telephone interviews are conducted with 8,000 Canadians (4,000 Anglophones and 4,000 Francophones ). To monitor changes
in the media landscape over the year, a survey with an independent sample of 4,000 Canadians (2,000 Anglophones
and 2,000 Francophones ) is conducted in the Spring. The results reported here are based on the Spring 2020 survey
of 4,019 Canadian respondents (including 1,288 cell phone only) across all regions of Canada [excluding territories] .The interviews were
conducted from April 22nd to May 4th, 2020 by Ad hoc Research."
