Cycling without a helmet was by far the most reported cyclist behavior in Europe, reaching **** percent in 2018. Just over ** percent of respondents had not worn a helmet at least once in the past 30 days before the survey was conducted. By contrast, under ** percent of respondents had cycled on a road next to a bicycle lane, which was the second most reported user behavior.
