In 2018, Europe had the largest share of people identifying as female who stated they cycle without a helmet: ** percent of them reported engaging in the behavior at least a few days a month. The region was followed closely by Asia and Oceania, where **** percent of female-identifying respondents cycled without a helmet. Asia and Oceania was also the region with the highest percentage of male-identifying cyclists not wearing a helmet, at **** percent.
