Fintech investment activity in EMEA remained uneven between 2022 and 2025, following the sharp correction after the 2022 peak. Funding declined throughout late 2022 and into 2023, before a temporary rebound in the second half of 2023. Momentum softened again in 2024, with deal values generally trending lower across the year. In 2025, however, investment activity showed signs of stabilization and modest recovery compared with 2024. While quarterly funding remained well below the highs seen in 2022, overall levels were somewhat stronger than the prior year, even as momentum eased toward the end of 2025. The pattern suggests cautious re-engagement from investors rather than a full-scale rebound.
