In 2019, the highest numbers of arrests of suspects of drug abuse were carried out in both Katsina and Bauchi with both over *** arrests, according to the special area command of Nigeria. Kano, Jigawa, Abia, and Plateau reported between *** and *** arrests in the same year. Areas with the least reported arrests were Nassarawa, Yobe, Combe, Sokoto, and Ekiti with less than ** arrests each.
