More specifically, ** percent of males and ** percent of females believed that corruption in Nigeria grew in the two years prior to the survey. On the other hand, ** percent of male and ** percent of female declared it decreased. Even if the perception of corruption is not a clear mirror of the actual status, the perceived trend can, among others, show the people's trust in public offices.
