The index development allows for credible analysis for brand development in real time and anticipates, to a large extent, the sales trend of a brand.

The index value reflects the 鈥渆ffective market value鈥 of a fashion brand (which means core brand value excluding economic indicators, see IFDAQ Brand Anatomy), which is influenced by one of the market dynamics energetically weighting various factors (such as marketing activity, influence, market efficiency, prestige, global media presence etc.).
