In 2020, at least eight out of ten travelers surveyed in four Latin American countries – Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico – said they would like booking platforms to be more transparent regarding conditions about cancellation policies, refund processes, trip insurance options, and similar topics. That same year, Latin American tourists also reported to be planning on hunting more for travel deals when the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
