According to a survey by on panic buying after the coronavirus outbreak, 49.02 percent of Vietnamese respondents stated that they did not stock up on items because they trusted supermarkets to have enough supplies. In the same survey, 61.57 percent of respondents indicated that they had not engaged in panic buying because of the coronavirus pandemic, while 38.43 percent of respondents did.
