Impact of coronavirus on sales of ground meat in the U.S. 2020-2021
During the week of March 15, 2020, the dollar sales of ground beef in the United States appreciated by 99.7 percent. Ranked second, the dollar sales of ground chicken increased by 88.3 percent that week. Going into 2021, ground meat sales in the U.S. did not see as drastic of changes as the year before. As of October 3, 2021, ground beef depreciated almost five percent compared to the dollar sales one year prior
