Fresh and processed meat was the fastest growing fresh food category during the coronavirus outbreak in the United States in the four weeks ending April 5, 2020. Fresh and processed meat sales grew by 41.2 percent compared to the previous year. In contrast, fresh deli product sales declined by over 22 percent.
