A survey held in March 2020 revealed that ** percent of participating U.S. adults felt that the news media was paying too much attention to the coronavirus. Attitudes varies according to political standpoint; whilst just ** percent of Democrats believed that there was too much media coverage of the pandemic, the same was true for almost ** percent of Republicans.
