According to a study held in March 2020, adults classified as belonging to Generation Z, so those around 18 to 22 years old, were the most likely to rent movies to watch at home due to the coronavirus. Due to many people around the globe practising self-isolation and social distancing, movie and TV consumption, either online or otherwise, is likely to increase as media fans turn to SVoD platforms and home video options to enjoy their favorite content in place of going to movie theaters or other entertainment venues.
