In a survey conducted in 2019, 70.7 percent of respondents in Italy saw Black Friday as a good opportunity to buy Christmas gifts. Nevertheless, 43.1 percent of interviewees declared that Black Friday was only an excuse to purchase things they would have never bought otherwise.
A further survey about purchasing intentions reveals that most of the Italian respondents planned to buy something on Black Friday.
