Purchasing Power Parity (PPP)
To measure purchasing power parity the prices of specific goods in different countries are compared in order to generate an understanding of the absolute purchasing power of each country's currency.
International dollar
As a hypothetical unit of currency, the international dollar is used to indicate the same purchasing power parity as the U.S. dollar in the United States at a given point in time.
