According to the source, 81 percent of respondents were entrepreneurs (company owners, individual entrepreneurs, self-employed, employees of companies, representatives of several forms of business) and nine percent were state and municipal employees. The survey was anonymous.
The share of respondents who encountered corruption rarely was calculated by subtracting the share of those who encountered it constantly from the total share of people who experienced corruption in entrepreneurship. The share of those who never encountered corruption was calculated by subtracting the share of respondents who faced corruption from 100 percent.

According to a survey conducted in 2022, approximately 43 percent of Russian entrepreneurs rarely encountered corruption in business activity. Nearly 42 percent of the polled reported having never experienced corruption in their work.
