Skin care market in Europe - statistics & facts
The skin care category has taken over the beauty and personal care industry, and European consumers are no less interested in such products than their global counterparts. In 2024, revenues for the European skin care market were estimated to amount to about 42 billion U.S. dollars, and increase up to nearly 50 billion U.S. dollars by the year 2030. In 2023, the skin care segment held the largest share of the European beauty market, at around 30 percent, and was followed by toiletries and hair care. In the same year, Germany ranked as the leading European cosmetics market, with revenues of 16 billion euros. France ranked second, with around 14 billion euros.
