On October 27th, 2024, voters in Uruguay participated in the first round of the general elections. On this date, the citizens of Uruguay voted to elect a new president, 30 senators, and 99 deputies. For this election, more than 2.7 million national citizens were called upon to vote. Furthermore, two referendums were included on the ballot.
