Presidential elections in Mexico 2024 - statistics & facts
On June 2nd, 2024, around 96 million registered voters will have the chance to vote in the Mexican Federal Elections to elect a new president, 200 federal deputies, and 128 senators. After six years of Andr茅s Manuel L贸pez Obrador (AMLO), the question remains whether the so-called 鈥淔ourth Transformation鈥 will be extended, or the opposition will regain power after only one mandate. During the last six presidential elections, the participation rate has been fluctuating and reached around 63 percent in 2018.
