The statistic reports the result of a survey on the intentions of people with regard to the future of their online accounts (social networks and email) once they pass away, conducted in Italy in 2019. On the one hand, almost half of the Italians interviewed claimed they would prefer their accounts to be removed from the internet after their death. On the other hand, only ** percent declared they would like their accounts to remain active.
