The Inner Mongolia Hinggan League wind power base (phase 2) in China is the largest wind farm in the world. As of February 2025, the Inner Mongolia Hinggan League wind farm had an installed capacity of roughly two gigawatts. With almost 1.4 gigawatts of capacity, Hornsea 2 was the largest offshore wind farm and the fifth one overall.
