Despite the coronavirus outbreak, book sales in Sweden considerably increased in the first eight months of 2020. However, there were major differences between sales in different distribution channels. Revenue generated through digital subscription services grew the most, by ** percent compared to the same period of the previous year. By contrast, sales through physical book stores declined by over ** percent.
