According to data, the share of respondents who thought that social media had a negative impact on people's social life (**** percent) was similar to that of respondents holding the opposite opinion (**** percent). Middle-aged users were the most optimistic age group: one in two respondents aged between 45 and 64 believed that social media helped reducing social isolation.
