This statistic presents a ranking of the most common negative online experiences of global internet users as of June 2016. During the survey period, 30 percent of global internet users experienced sexual risks online, the most common risk being the recipient of unwanted sexting messages. A total of 21 percent of survey respondents received unwanted sexting messages.
