This statistic displays consumers long-haul travel plans over the next 12 months by age group, as of surveys conducted in May 2016 and August 2016 in the United Kingdom (UK). The surveys were intentionally carried out before and after the June 2016 referendum, which saw the United Kingdom vote to leave the European Union ('Brexit'). In May the share of 18 to 24 year old respondents planning to travel long-haul measured ** percent. Following the referendum result, the share had increased to ** percent.
