Data for 2021 do not include estimates for visits across the Irish land border. No data for the Eurotunnel was gathered from January 2021 to June 2022 but estimates include the passenger numbers using that route.

The number of travelers from the European Union visiting the United Kingdom generally increased in 2023 compared to 2022. For instance, in September 2023 the UK recorded roughly *** million visits in total. By comparison, **** million visitors from the European Union traveled to the UK in September 2022.
