This statistic compares the results from two surveys for pollsters TNS Sifo commissioned by Swedish public broadcaster SVT with the question "Do you think it is a good idea that Sweden is a member of the European Union?". The surveys were taken in autumn 2015 and in April 2016. In autumn 2015, 59 percent of the Swedes stated that it's a good idea that Sweden is a member of the European Union. In April 2016, only 39 percent of the Swedes had a positive opinion about their membership in the European Union.
