Federal and provinicial tax credits refer to the tax credis Canadian production companies receive as defined by their eligibility, which are normally invested into their TV projects to complete their financng.
Financing from Canadian distributors includes minimum guarantees and advances invested in TV projects, in exchange for the rights to promote/market, license, and exhibit Canadian productions.
Foreign financing is comprised of broadcast license fees, advances, and minimum guarantees, as well as other forms of financing from distributors/broadcasters/other organizations not based in Canada.
Canada Media Fund financing is only for programming in the ficton, children's/youth, documentary, and VAPA genres,
